Fortunately, 2024 promises to be an exciting and transformative period for the luxury car market, with several renowned manufacturers set to launch highly anticipated models. These new releases are generating considerable buzz among those passionate about luxury cars, as they are expected to incorporate cutting-edge technology, innovative design features, and enhanced performance capabilities.

One of the key trends that will dominate the luxury car landscape in 2024 is the prevalence of electric propulsion systems. With the electric revolution gaining momentum, more luxury car brands are embracing this eco-conscious direction, aligning themselves with industry changes and lending their own touch of sophistication to electric vehicles. Notably, these new luxury electric cars are poised to redefine the idea of luxury, offering not only unparalleled comfort and opulence, but also a clean and sustainable driving experience. Although many luxury cars are scheduled to make their debut in 2024, we have curated a selection of the most anticipated models for 2024. Keep reading to see what vehicles make our list.

2024 Acura ZDX

After a 10-year break due to lackluster sales, Acura's midsize luxury crossover is making a comeback, and it's bringing an exciting change. This time around, the crossover will be fully-electric, marking a significant milestone as Acura's first-ever EV. The upcoming electric SUV is the result of a collaboration between Honda and General Motors. It will utilize GM's advanced Ultium battery system and share electric powertrains with the Cadillac Lyriq SUV.

The Acura ZDX will come in two grades: A-Spec and Type S. The entry-level A-Spec will have a single motor that delivers 340 horsepower, although buyers can include an additional electric motor, enabling the vehicle to have all-wheel drive capabilities. For those seeking a little extra oomph, the Type S is worth considering. This model takes performance to new heights, thanks to its impressive power output of 500 horsepower, made possible by the use of two electric motors. On top of that, it comes equipped with fantastic performance features like an air suspension system with adaptive dampers, Brembo brakes that ensure consistent stopping power, as well as 22-inch wheels.

2024 Lexus LBX

Say hello to the charming LBX, the smallest model ever made by Lexus. Measuring a compact 165 inches in length, 71.9 inches in width, and 60.8 inches in height, this little gem is perfect for zipping around town. The LBX is based on the Toyota Yaris Cross and will serve as Lexus' entry-level model starting in 2024.

Unfortunately, we won't be seeing it here in the United States, as the tiny crossover will only be sold in Europe and other markets. It's a bit of a disappointment, but there are still plenty of other exciting models available to explore and enjoy Stateside.

2024 BMW 5 Series

After a fantastic seven-year run with its seventh generation, BMW's luxurious midsize car is gearing up for a new generation in the upcoming 2024 model year. The 2024 BMW 5 Series promises a diverse selection of powerful and economical engines, a curved display with the latest iDrive interface, a roomy cabin that's quiet and comfortable, as well as a generously sized trunk that should provide ample space for all your belongings. In addition to the core models, BMW will also debut an all-electric variant of the 5 Series called the i5. The Bavarian giant offers this EV with single or dual motor and up to 590 hp.

2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class range to be slashed for new model next year - Drive

The Mercedes-Benz lineup boasts some of the best luxury cars 2024 has to offer. But even among these remarkable options, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class undoubtedly shines as a truly captivating model that captures attention and stands out from the rest. The luxury midsize car is all-new for 2024, and it brings an attractive exterior design as well as an abundance of technology and luxury with less impact on nature, thanks to the use of recycled materials.

In terms of performance, the new models deliver output that is on par with the previous versions. The base E350 features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that combines with an electric motor to generate 255 total horsepower. The E450 model, for its part, sees a slight increase in power, going from 362 to 375 horsepower, thanks to a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six paired with the same electric motor as the E350. As well as improving fuel economy, the hybrid systems reportedly also have the added benefit of reducing turbo lag.
